Aran & Franklin Engineering, Inc consists of a group of dedicated structural civil engineers specializing in windstorm
design and inspection. We accept work primarily in Texas First Tier Coastal Counties of Jefferson, Chambers and
Galveston, but also take some limited work in Harris, Hardin and Brazoria counties. We are an independent firm working
in conjunction with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) - Windstorm to certify buildings in high wind areas. We also
work with clients to provide construction documentation to the cities and counties as required.
Our inspectors are neither professional engineers nor affiliated with Texas Department of Insurance - Windstorm. Please
contact our office to schedule an inspection of your project. All information regarding products used and installation
methods must be communicated to our main office before an inspection is scheduled. We also have a full service on-
site production team that designs and drafts all the necessary documents to assist us in the completion of your project.

Initial Product Consultations:
- Replacement or new construction of metal roofs, doors and windows will require an initial consultation prior to
ordering materials. This is necessary to ensure that only materials that will satisfy certification requirements are
purchased, saving you the time and expense of replacing inadequate materials. At this consultation, a list of
approved products for your project will be provided to you. There is an initial consultation fee of $100 that must be
paid at the time of consultation.
